Geocache Description:

This is at the lovely Newseat Community Woodland, just outside Inverurie. There is a circular route around the park, which if heading off in a clockwise direction, starts as a good path but about half way round becomes a track. As others have said, this and the other tracks that criss-cross the woods can often be muddy/boggy in places. It is possible to reach the cache and return the way you came without getting too bogged down, but if considering heading on from the cache and doing the circuit (which is really nice) then sturdy-ish footwear is needed.

The cache is at the opposite end of the woods from the car park. Once you get half way round you'll notice a seat overlooking a small park of grass. You should see a small track here which will take you to the fence at the bottom of the park, and then head right.

The tree in question is a very beautiful sycamore. Cache contents are quite doggy themed - a nod to all the dog-walkers who come here, and of course my own long-suffering cach-hound.
