The cache is regular sized container and contains the names of the charter members, events in the church history and a photo of the building built in 1911. It also has trade swag in it. If it has rained recently the area around the cache may be wet.
Culbertson Baptist Church was organized on May 20, 1877. The first building was a one room log building that served as both the church and the local school. In 1911 a new four room building was constructed. The present church building was built in 1955.
The old spring fed baptistery that is across the road from the church and cemetery was used until the new church was completed. The baptistery is covered by a fence, please don’t stand or step on the fencing. You may park in the parking lot at the church. Please use caution when crossing the road.
Daylight hours only please! Congratulations to Ridgeboro Duo on FTF !
