On many nights in the late 70’s my parents and I would park what is now the Ace Neon Signs Company. We would tune in the radio station just right, listen and watch whatever was playing on the big screen just across the way.
The Starlite Drive-In started in the early 1950’s and closed in the late 80’s. It originally had a screen of 40’x60’, which blew down in 1967 and was replaced with a 50’x110’ screen and then a second screen was added in the early 1980’s. The site is now home to a trailer park, but the original marquee was saved and remains at the entrance.
This cache is located near the rear area of what used to be the back lot. Please use stealth when looking for this cache and place it back as you found it.
