C.E.L.L. Roberta Bondar Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Norshley: The C.E.L.L. series has been enjoyed by London area cachers plus visitors for the past 4 years. Several caches have unfortunately gone missing, and several containers have fallen apart. It is now time to retire the series. All the containers have been retrieved, and now the caches are archived. Thanks for all the complimentary logs about the series.

Geocache Description:

The Clandeboye Extension of the London Loop is an extension across Fallon Drive, Richmond St., and Denfield Rd.

If you enjoyed the London Loop, here are a few more caches for you to find. These caches are named after famous Canadian women, many of whom have been honoured by their depiction on Canadian postage stamps! Enjoy!

Roberta Lynn Bondar: Born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario in 1945. Trained as a neurologist, Dr. Bondar was Canada’s first woman astronaut and she had flair. She took her favourite food, Girl Guide cookies, into space with her. She brought from space a real sense of just how delicate our small blue planet really is and is now using her photography to help show the dire need to save our earth’s environment. She had been a researcher and lecture at McMaster University in Hamilton, the University of Western Ontario in London, and is currently serving as Chancellor at Trent University in Peterborough. She is the author or the subject of several books which are available through your Public Library.

This cache is a wee bison tube near a curvy sign.
