Once upon a time there was a king and queen who lived in a golden castle with their beautiful fairy princess daughter.
One night an ugly ogre captured the beautiful fairy princess and locked her up in his tall dark tower.
The king and queen were very sad. They promised to give a big smiley to the knight or knightress that rescued the fairy princess.
All the knights in the land wanted to rescue the fairy princess. They rode to the tower as fast as they could.
The ugly ogre roared with anger when he saw the knights. His roar was so scary that they rode away as fast as they could.
One day a friendly dragon was flying over the ogre’s tower when he heard the fairy princess cry for help.
The dragon flew down to the tower, took a big fiery breath and blew the ogre far away.
The dragon left a box of tools to free the fairy princess.
You, as the king and queens knights and knightress,s job is to find the box of tools and rescue the fairy princess. Find which tool unlocks the ogre’s dark tower and save the fairy princess. Say hi to the fiery dragon when you find the tall dark tower.
The fairy princess will be so happy that she will give you a big smiley and everyone will live happily ever after.
About the cache: Stop by the first waypoint and pick up a tool kit and the coords to the Dark Tower. Use only the tools provided in the tool kit to open the Dark Tower to get to the cache container. Take your time, try different tools and think about what will release the trap. You may have to call for help or email us for a hint. Don't give hints on how you opened the container in your online log.
Please take only one tool kit per group and be sure to take it home with you to discard. Don’t put it back in the tool box. Find coords on bottom of tool box lid at 1st WP.
