Geocache Description:

"Will it be Spring soon?" A better question might be "will we have a Winter this year?" This year's very mild winter has kept geocachers out of hibernation and out on the trails. But we can still look forward to the temperatures rising, the grass turning green and the flowers and the trees blooming.

Surprise Katydid at 8 PM!

Come and join us for a celebration of the new season at J Timothys Taverne in Plainville. We will be in the upstairs area, look for the stairs near the entrance. Festivities will start about 6:30, but the upstairs lounge will be open about 6 for those of you wanting to get started on the wings early.

The Central CT Cacher's Nite Out is an evening gathering for caching enthusiasts, generally on the second Tuesday of every month held in varying locations each month. Mark your calendars now! Everyone is welcome to attend...you don't have to reside in CT, and you certainly don't have to be an experienced cacher… new folks are most welcome! Let us know if this is your first event as we'd like to get acquainted.

This event features new or rotating hosts every month. If you have an interest in hosting, please contact Katydid & Miles Stone. As host, you'll select a location; get the coordinates; and copy and paste the event page and resubmit. There are a numbers of places in the area to enjoy good food and drinks. Locations should be kid friendly, have no admission fee and be within the Central Connecticut/Greater Hartford area. Cachers from outside of the area are also encouraged to host, but we do ask that the event itself be held in the Central Connecticut area. As always, enjoy the adventure!
