Geocache Description:

Another cache brought to you by a member of the USCGA

This cache is located in an area, known as Carver Mill, where local 4X4 enthusiasts go to play around. With AgentHop recently lifting his Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon, I tagged along to give back to my fellow off-roading geocachers. There is plenty of parking available to off load dirt bikes, 4-wheelers, etc. or you can drive in with your 4X4 vehicle. Permission has been granted by the property owner (see AGREEMENT & DISCLAIMER below).Parking and the recommended starting point of your search can be found at the following coordinates: N 34°57.072 W 081°59.032.

Although you can hike in and find the caches scattered around this area, it is not recommended. You will bring unwanted attention to yourself while you search (nothing stands out more than a person on foot in an off-road area), and you will have to do a lot of hiking.

This is a park-n-grab off-road style. You can pull within 100 feet of the cache, but getting there will be the challenge. Put it in 4-wheel drive, lock 'em if you have 'em, and enjoy the day hunting and wheelin'.

The cache container will hold small trade items, and is hidden from view of the untrained eyes of geocachers. Please hide this cache back the way you found it as many muggles visit this area. Stealth is required during the hunt because this place can be busy with off-road muggle activity.

******************************************

Enjoy the hunt, but please remember that safety always comes first. Remember you are on private property for geocaching activities, if you are not in full agreement of the above AGREEMENT & DISCLAIMER...DO NOT HUNT THIS CACHE!!

NOTE: There is a Spartanburg Water System right of way that runs through this property. Please be watchful for the manholes as you make your way to the cache and stay clear of them.
Also, Spartanburg's Finest patrol this area from time to time. If you should be stopped by a police officer and questioned about your presence on the property, respectfully explain that you are geocaching (keyword), and that the property owner has given permission to do so. Of course, you are welcome to invite the officer along with you while you hunt.
