As the owner has not responded to either my log or my colleague's previous log requesting that they check this cache I am archiving it.

Geocache Description:

I will be ARCHIVING this geocache within the next two or three months because I am unable to maintain it. If anyone would like to ADOPT this cache please get in touch.


The best way to approach this cache is from Betws-y-Coed, following the white walking trail towards Llyn Elsi. There are some breathtaking views of the lake to be had on a clear day, but this hidden spot could be the best of them.

As you approach the monument, look for the lone bench on the promontory reaching out into the middle of the lake. That's where you're headed. You'll need to take a short detour away from the white trail to make it, but there's a well-trodden footpath leading all the way there. As always when near water, be careful where you put your feet if you're near the edge.
