Blocked in Bennett Traditional Cache
Cachebury Seekers: Since this has been retired, this is no longer a spoiler. There's an area in the park where there are cinder blocks on the ground, or sort of buried in the ground. The original cache was in a hole in a tree nearby, always snow friendly, and hidden behind a piece of cinder block. One of the tricks of geocaching - always look for something that seems out of place. Thus the block in the tree.

This is a park and grab in this Southbury, CT, park. Try these coordinates, though, as our GPS seems to be giving us trouble. N41 30.0426 W073 13.0703 We'll check out as soon as we're able to fix/update/upgrade our equipment.
George Bennett Park features trout fishing, a picnic area, and benches along the Pomperaug River, which flows into the park after heavy winters and the rainy season. But this cache is safe from the flood waters. So go ahead and have a blast. (Unfortunately, though, you have to do this one without the dog as Southbury typically does not allow dogs at its parks.)
