This is a nice walk and grab in the Cleveland Park area. Head on up Porter Street NW, just a block off Connecticut Avenue.
Learn about the history of the Cleveland Park neighborhood housing stock. Some homes even came mail order!
Once you are done, hop on the H3 or H4 bus toward Tenley Town for a quick trip to the Washington National Cathedral (hop off the bus at Wisconsin and walk south a few blocks) and a few more local caches! Or ride the L1 or L2 South to Dupont circle and downtown!
Street parking is available in the area- just read the signs. There is also customer parking in the shopping areas near the Cleveland Park Metro.
