Geocache Description:


There are obviously few geocachers out there that consider the Catskills as part of there regular playground. Why is that? Is it the lack of cachers in the area or the lack of caches to draw in the cacher?
There certainly isn't a lack of hikers. People travel miles to hike these hills. On the winter day I placed this cache our tracks in the fresh early morning snow quickly became a highway for others to follow. This cache placement may bring others. Or perhaps it will only attract those same few cachers that enjoy both. This is a trail-less peak. I have intentionally not included parking coordinates so you can enjoy finding your own way out here and enjoy this peak as intended.
