A mystery cache in my favorite park-Fowler.I found a combination lock in a cache about a year ago.The interesting thing about this lock is that it takes a 5-letter word to unlock it.There are 5 tumblers with letters on them and the right combination of letters will open it.The cool part about it is that you can set it for any 5 letter word you want.It came with instructions and a few words one might want to use.Such as:
alone arise atone
diode dirty disks
enter erase eater
glade glass goose
hunts haste hills
lands leaks loose
moose match meals
reels rosey rusty
sunny sauce silky
water wears weird
Now-the combination I set the lock to might or might not be in the list above. But,rest assured,it is on this page.
The find itself should be very easy. It's an ammo box hidden beside a large boulder
There's a pretty good trail back to the area.Just a few trees across the trail and a soggy spot or two.Recommended parking is at the basketball courts, but it can be accessed from the pull-off on Oregon Church Rd. just east of the tracks,if the park is closed.
