Geocache Description:

What did you find here? Some found value inside the store, some found their first job, but we found a beautiful community nestled away from the highway.

When we first moved here from Chicago in 2003, the intersection was a stop sign with a few small business in metal buildings on the northeast corner and that was it. We were impressed with the small town feel of the area, but it sure was tough to find any place open after 10 pm within a half hour drive!

Since that time, the community has grown more and more. There are now 4 stop lights (only 1 when we got here), big chain stores and a thriving commercial economy that still retains the small town feel.

The terrain is a 1, but we bumped up the difficulty a little since super secret squirrel stealth will be needed due to traffic in the parking lot. Please don’t linger at GZ to sign the log and raise suspicion. The log is in a plastic bag, so make sure it’s sealed up. When returning the cache, make sure it’s upright to help keep it dry.

A cool little car is in the cache for the FTF!

***Congrats to RebelGTP for FTF!!***
