Feed the Birds Traditional Cache

CanonShooters: I am very sad to report that Feed the Birds has disappeared. Don't know if someone took it or what. Can only hope that whoever has it (the bird feeder) will hang it somewhere and continue to use it to feed the birds.
Thanks to all who enjoyed it. I certainly enjoyed designing and building it, and am a bit frustrated that it has been taken. On the other hand, I must admit to being surprised that it lasted as long as it did.

Geocache Description:

Small plastic box. Log only.

A quiet retreat.
This geocache has two purposes: 1) to celebrate 'Feed the Birds' month (February) and 2) to showcase this quiet little park area. Assuming the birds take to this feeder, help us keep it stocked. Birds eat lots at our home feeders during the winter months, but not so much in the summer. When you log your find, please tell us the status of the birdseed supply. Also, let us know if you have added to the supply. Please be careful of the ground cover. You should be able to reach the cache without stepping off the grass/dirt surface. Parking is available at the east end of the park. Overhead power lines may disturb GPSr readings.
