My dad used to say thunder was the giants bowling in the sky... but we won't talk about storms at this cache...
Permission has been obtained from the owner for placement of this cache. Steve is a busy family man, friendly and seemed to enjoy the TBs I showed him and the idea of caching... I enjoyed meeting and chatting with him.
The story behind this business is rather interesting. As I understand it, a competitor built the building, then suddenly closed the business, without notice even to their employees. Sometime thereafter, the original (30 years in town) local business burned down. Eventually, the town's original business (silent partner of this one?) moved to this (empty at the time) business location and took over. They changed the name to reflect their ownership. Nice for them to have an updated, local building and great for the community!
