This cache is located near the lakeside entrance to Camp Benjamin Hawkins. Youth in the Middle Georgia area have camped in the woods here along Scout Lake since the 1920s.
Through the years, campers at Ben Hawkins have claimed to spot the legendary BEAVER-SHARK in the waters of Scout Lake. Such sightings remain unconfirmed.
You will not need to enter through the camp gate or cross onto private camp property to access this cache! Permission granted by CGC BSA.
