"Cash Cache" Traditional Cache

Obelix: HI I am unable to get to this cache until early next vear at the earliest. I had hoped to do it on my last visit, but while servicing a windturbine on the coast a stay rope broke causing the turbine to crash to the ground smashing two of my ribs! Better luck next time. Mind you the cash has been vandasised twice. Obelix

Geocache Description:

This cache is hidden in probably the most spectacular location in Ireland so far. The view to the North East over lough Nahilleron and the Twelve Pins is Connemara at its best!

Take the N59 from Galway to Clifden. There is a road to the right at N53 28.447 W009 52.892 Proceed up this road for about 1.8 miles - Park your car or bike and start walking! Just follow that GPS. This cache, as its name implies is all about cash - due to the very exposed nature of the cache I have had to use a very small waterproof container, the contents of which consists mainly of coins from different countries.

Contents:- Coins including 1 gold US Dollar ex "America Gold" cache found yesterday! (I have the travel bug!!) Baloons, Scent and small book of quotations.

I will update more info on finding on Thursday.
