This is a Night Cache dedicated to the Werechicken of Luss! My favourite cache of last year was "Things that go "cluck" in the night!" (GC37ERH) and although I only survived that encounter by the skin of my teeth I have been haunted by the nightmares! After months of researching the feathery critter I only unearthed two facts... once bitten, the victim themselves is infected as by some ecto contagion that transmogrifies them into a kind of Werechicken ghost... a Poultrygeist!!! The good news is that they seem to only walk the earth stalking and pecking their human victims every February 29th, Leap Night!!!
Park in the car park at the Muirshiel Visitor Centre. Make your way to the given coordinates and turn on your torch! Shine your light around – you will find markers on trees that you will have to follow to find the cache. The final stage is marked with 3 markers... oh, if you hear a "cluck" the rating becomes a 5/5! Good luck!
