Geocache Description:

This Geocache is part of a series of 12 caches placed by the Diablo Sunrise District, Mt. Diablo-Silverado Council, of Boy Scouts of America. Each of the series highlights a project completed by a local Boy Scout as part of his effort to earn Eagle rank, the highest achievement a young man can earn as a Scout.

Eagle Project Details: This project was completed in 2007 by two Eagle Scouts from Troop 450 in Antioch. The project included repairing, restoring and refinishing three redwood arbor structures you can see nearby at John Muir School. One of the arbors is appropriately named The Eagles Nest. Another Eagle Scout built walkways that provide a mud-free connection from the blacktop to the arbors.
