Geocache Description:

The owner of this cache is a Lincolnshire Cachers member

Flash mob (FLASH mawb) n. A large group of people who gather in a usually predetermined location, perform some brief action, and then quickly disperse.

This event is only 15 minutes long!!!

You MUST be present and drop a log sheet into the can during this time to claim the event.

This is North Lincolnshire's first flash mob event (as far as I know anyroad) Let's cause some mayhem and confuse a few muggles.

On arrival at GZ, I will provide a  receptacle (probably a large tin of leftover chocolates from Christmas once we have got rid of the Strawberry and Orange creams that still linger, unwanted, in said tin) for the logs.

Please bring your own postcard size log with your caching name clearly written on it. This log will be proof of your attendance to the Flash Meet and only the received logs will be permitted to claim the event cache. One card per cacher/ team but can you please record the number of people in your group so I can record the total number of geogeeks..erm..I mean attendees.

At precisely 18:00 BST on 14/4/12 a whistle will blow and Geocachers will converge on the above coordinates from dark corners, behind lamp posts, hidden allies and other inconspicuous places. Each holding one or more pillows of various colours and designs and wearing pyjamas (the pyjamas were suggested by Darleygirl..its its up to you if you want to take her seriously. Why not bring a teddy bear too?)

On meeting as a group at Ground Zero, a second whistle will blow and we will undertake a one minute Pillow Fight, creating mayhem in the Market Place. That should confuse a few muggles.

At exactly 18.02 BST (not a second later) Bashing will be ceased and we will hand out the event meal...something small (possibly strawberry and orange creams, but you never know; Froggysmummy might just buy chocolate and NOT scoff it before the event)

Get your cards ready to book in to the event please.

At 18.05 BST At this time you should all place your log sheet into the receptacle provided.

At 18.10 BSTone name will be drawn from the can. That person will be awarded the FTF honours for the event.

At 18.11 BSTIts a quick photo opportunity and then prepare for the finale.

To enable a precise ending for this Flash Event at 18.15 BST we will prepare to leave the area just 15 seconds early (that's when the whistle blows!) All Geocachers will of course be waving their pillows behind them. Please do not leave in any orderly fashion as it is intended that the mugglers watching us are completely bemused. Please depart into every direction possible. Continue to wave those pillows for exactly 15 seconds and then hide them at the precise time of 18.15hrs BST

For catering purposes, When you log your "We will attend logs" please identify how many people in your group.

This event will be followed by a get together at 'Hardy's Public House aka Lord Nelson Hotel' mere metres, or feet if you will, from GZ.
