A Time for Reflection
This historic cemetary has now been heritage listed and records the passing of many names that are still familiar in the surrounding districts. Chudliegh as a town, has quite a heritage, being planned by none other than John Batman (not the caped crusader) who went on to plan the city of Melbourne. Chudliegh obviously didn't grow as expected but remains a charming example of country village life and the centre of a thriving rural community.
