Enjoy an unusual bit of nature, not normally found in Pennsylvania, while looking for this cache.
The animals at this location are friendly and like to be petted. You have permission to do so. They do occasionally spit, normally only at each other, but be prepared just in case. They like to romp and play and rough house just like kids do.
The larger ones are Llamas, the smaller ones are Alpacas. There are Boer Goats on site as well that generally only come out in warm weather.
DO NOT FEED the animals.
Absolutely NO NIGHT CACHING allowed or the owner will make me remove the cache. There are onsite cameras, so the owners will know if you have been there when you weren’t supposed to be.
This secondary road is heavily traveled by fast moving large trucks. Do Not park along the road. The parking coordinates are for the owner’s driveway with their permission. Please be respectful. Be very careful when pulling off or back onto the road. The trucks come around the corner very fast. Also, be very careful when walking to the cache. You have permission to walk across the owner's lawn and along the edge, so you do not have to walk on the berm. Be extra careful with children near the road.
This is my very first cache hide. Hopefully, everybody enjoys it. I expect this to be a hit with the kids as well as the adults. Try not to make this a cache and dash, although it could be. It is not meant to be hard. The real excitement is in the living attractions, not the cache. But I must admit that the cache container and initial contents was a Christmas gift from my son to encourage me to finally put out a cache of my own.
