Geocache Description:


The lake north of this site is called Fisher Lake and is private property. During the winter of 2011-12 the lake level got very low and the bald eagles converged on it...thus Bald Eagle Lake. There were times where 15 or more bald eagles would be in the trees. I have also spotted in the general area an eagles nest. Olkb shares that we haven't had a nesting pair of eagles around here in a long time. Well time for me to get the bino's out and see if we are lucky this year.

This Letterbox is the first micro Letterbox for the state of Iowa. Please leave the stamps in the container.
