Geocache Description:

Je ziet ze vanop de snelweg .. maar de korstste weg is niet altijd de gemakkelijkste. Kies je weg wijs.

Naast de E19 in Hoogstraten-Meer staan zes enorme windturbines broederlijk naast elkaar als bakens aan de horizon. In lengte kloppen ze zelfs de monumentale St-Katharinatoren van Hoogstraten. Het hoogste punt dat een wiek bereikt is namelijk 118 meter en dat is 13 meter meer. Die zichtbaarheid heeft zeker zo zijn voordelen. Wellicht zal in Meer nog zelden iemand de weg vragen naar het windmolenpark en de transportzone.

You can't miss them when you pass by on the E19. A row of 6 windturbines stand as a beacon in the fields. At the highest point the propeller is at 118m heigh, 13m heigher then the St-Katharina church tower in Hoogstraten. When you're lost in the neighbourhood, the windmills easily guide you to the transportzone. The shortest way is not always the easiest. Choose your route carefully.
