Geocache Description:

My First Hide,
After being a novice to this hobby for almost a year, I decided to try my hand at hiding a cache. If you are going to travel this far south in search of caches this will start your day off to a good start. I have been disappointed with some of my searches and want to provide a cache that was relatively easy to find and not a danger to the environment or the seeker.

I don’t appreciate those hidden caches where you have to leave the trail, those bushwhacker techniques damage the ecosystem and when hundreds repeat the same search non-repairable damage is done. I complement those hiders in the SOCAL area who realize the enjoyment of finding the cache. I also like those caches where you do not need to research on line before going out. It’s nice to know what you are looking for, but placement is key. I am not fond of sticking my hand in a hole beside a rock just to see if there is a cache in there. Too many snakes in these isolated settings.
So this cache is an easy find, and after you sign your name, take a moment and look around, you will see Red-tailed hawks, ducks, horses and beauty in the natural landscape
