Mancatcha Waterfall



This is another beautiful waterfall of Lesvos island, unknown to most people, locals and visitors alike !
If you where in need to describe it in one phrase, you could use the words ' Paradise promotion trailer'.
You can park off the main road N39 16.462 E26 22.276 and then walk about 1.6 klm. on a relatively good unpaved road or drive to N39 16.460 E26 21.636 and park somewhere there.
Open the unlocked iron door on the NE side of the road, under the Mancatcha falls sign and don't forget to close it after your entry, so the horses or sheep don't escape.
Then walk down to the waterfall. If you visit the place in the summer months there might not be much water but still a beautiful place to relax, and forget your everyday problems.
Bring water with you, and watch out for thirsty - wild - crawling thinks. Probably your mobile will not have signal here, your GPS maybe acts strange pointing left and right ... but you are a geocacher and you can exchange technology for satisfaction for a small period ! Right ?
