Inside an Etruscan tomb
The Etruscan tombs of Castel d'Asso are very close to Viterbo, and to the open air hot water springs (terme) in via del Bullicame where you can relax - for free - after finding the cache.
That's the first Etruscan cemetery carved in the rock to be discovered, in 1817.
The cache is inside the "tomba grande" (see picture).
You might want to bring a flashlight to better explore the tomb.. and to find the cache!
The terrain rating is due to the short climb to get to the entrance of the tomb, if you follow the main path. You can also climb on the left side and go by other tombs; this way you won't have to go up the slope, but you'll miss a lot of nice tombs.
