Wikipedia says this about Leap Days:
"February 29, known as a leap day in the Gregorian calendar, is a date that occurs in most years that are evenly divisible by 4, such as 2004, 2008, 2012 and 2016. Years that are evenly divisible by 100 do not contain a leap day, with the exception of years that are evenly divisible by 400, which do contain a leap day; thus 1900 did not contain a leap day while 2000 did. Years containing a leap day are called leap years. February 29 is the 60th day of the Gregorian calendar in such a year, with 306 days remaining until the end of that year... Although most years of the modern calendar have 365 days, a complete revolution around the sun takes approximately 365 days and 6 hours. Every four years, during which an extra 24 hours have accumulated, one extra day is added to keep the count coordinated with the sun's apparent position."
You can park just to the north of this cache where the trail intersects with the country road.
This should be a fairly easy find, although you will have to bushwhack a little. It wasn't too bad when I hid this cache on February 29th 2012. When I replaced this cache on September 23rd, 2023, it wasn't too bad either but there were thorns in the area. Be aware of the normal hazards you find in the woods, and there are thorns in the immediate vicinity of this cache.
You do NOT need to cross any fences to find this cache!
You are looking for a small container wrapped in black tape. The cache should be covered with sticks, leaves, etc. but shouldn't be too hard to spot.
After I replaced this cache on September 23rd, 2023, I took multiple coordinate readings with an average accuracy of 12 feet.
Bring your own writing utensil and please put the cache back exactly as you found it.
