Geocache Description:


The Alps to the Ocean is one of the many new cycle trails being contructed in NZ. This trail is approx 90% complete. The trail starts near Mount Cook and concludes at Oamaru. (visit link)

The final section no 8 will take cyclist the 53km from Duntroon to Oamaru via Elephant Rock on onto the old Tokarahi branch rail line. This section will include too tunnels and some magnificent natural Oamaru stone formations in the Inland Cliff district.

The cache is a 200ml sistema container with logbook and pencil.
