Geocache Description:

This is the third in our series of five caches in Larenim Park. It is a small container located near a fishing dock on the lake. The dock is approximately one mile off paved road and the unpaved road may be muddy and rutted depending on the weather.

This is the third in our series of five caches in Larenim Park. It is a small container located near a fishing dock on the lake. The lake is reported to be stocked in the spring so you could give it a try as permitted by WV license (your responsibility to check this). There is a dock by the lake that theoretically is handicapped accessible, but you cannot drive all the way to the dock with a car because the road is blocked a short distance from the dock. The slope is gentle but unpaved, somewhat rutted, and would be rough for a wheelchair unassisted.

We don’t like to go to the park without spending at least a couple hours fishing, hiking, or doing nature photography. This is not for cache and dash, but to enjoy the outdoors! But the park closes at dusk, so don’t be hanging around later.
