This is the fifth in our series of five in Larenim Park. It is a small lock-and-lock.
This cache is located in a wooded area some distance from the Larenim Lake fishing dock. The dock is approximately one mile off paved road and the unpaved road may be muddy and rutted depending on the weather. To find the cache you might initially take a path up the hill from the lake and follow your GPS and Geosense from there. Notice this is a relatively dry environment and the vegetation that is found here. This area is known by ecologists as shale barrens.
