Geocache Description:

This is an Event Cache

This event is the rescheduled "Leap" into HTML Codes event.

What: A Meet and Greet and a short class on using HTML Codes to dress up your Cache description pages.

Where: The YMCA of the Northwoods, 2003 Winnebago St. Rhinelander.

When: Saturday March 17, 2012. St. Patrick’s Day

Time: 2pm to 3:30 pm

This will be a Great time for the cachers in the area to put a Face with a name's that they see on Cache logs.

I have been asked many times how to put a picture on a cache page, I have found out it is easier to show than to explain so I will give a short demonstration on using the basic HTML codes to dress up your Cache Description pages.

There will be a table set up for trading and discovering trackables.

What are Leprechauns know for?

Check back often to keep up with the updates. When I do an update I will also write a note log so if you put a watch on this cache you will get an e-mail about the update.

So let’s all get together and Share some Geocaching Stories, Learn a little about HTML Codes, and Celebrate St. Patrick's Day!

~~~Update~~Wednesday, March 07, 2012~~~
I’ve done it again! I found, received the proper permissions, placed, built web pages, submitted and have had approved, 4 caches for the Leprechauns and HTML Codes event . These four caches will have the same puzzle as the “Leap” into HTML Codes event had, each cache will contain a letter that is encrypted in the Rot13 cypher and when unscrambled will be a four letter word. These 4 caches will be published on Saturday March 17th. Because this event is on a Saturday I am not going to tell you the time that they will be published.
Everyone who finds these caches, gets the clues, figures out the 4 letter word and attends the Leprechauns and HTML Codes event will be eligible for a special door prize!
Everyone who has found, or will find the 4 caches that were hid for the “Leap” into HTML Codes event and attends the Leprechauns and HTML Codes event will be eligible for the drawing for the Diamond Willow Staff that is hand carved by WoodcarverDan and trackable on geocaching.com. Those 4 caches are the Leap series, GC3CMZA, GC3CMZC, GC3CMZD, GC3CMZE There will be separate prizes for each of the 4 letter word puzzles.
Check back to this web page often, you never know what I am going to come up with for some fun! When I do an update I will post an announcement Log If you put a watch on this cache you will get an e-mail stating that I have made an update!
~~~Update, Wednesday March 14, 2012~~~

The weather forecast for Saturday is much more favorable than what Leap day’s forecast was.

This last week I have received a Geocoin and some SWAG in the Mail.

There will be prizes for finding the 4 Leap Day caches and solving the puzzle word,
Those Caches are GC3CMZA, GC3CMZC, GC3CMZD, GC3CMZE, they were published on the morning of Leap Day, February 29th
That Prize is a Hand Carved Diamond Willow Staff that is trackable on Geocaching.com after the winner activates it.

There will be a prize for finding the 4 St. Patrick’s Day caches (Yet to be published) and solving the puzzle word that goes with them. They will be published some time on Saturday!
That prize is a Hand Carved Woodspirit and a Geocoin, (The coin is Green but not a St. Patrick’s coin)

Everyone who participates in the Friendship Bingo and has at least 1 bingo will be in a drawing for a WCD Carving.
The Carving is a Woodspirit,

I am looking forward to seeing Everyone on Saturday!
I hope everyone feels like the prizes are Worth Playing for!
