This is a magnetic cache hidden at the spot where William Morris had his printing factory. You will need to be very stealthy at this spot as it is a fairly busy footpath. Please replace exactly where found.
William Morris (1834 – 1896) was an English textile designer, artist, writer and socialist with an association with the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood and the English Arts and Crafts Movement. He founded a design firm in partnership with the artist Edward Burne-Jones and the poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti which influenced the decoration of churches and houses for a long time. As an author and illustrator he helped to create the fantasy genre, and was an influence on postwar authors such as Tolkien. He was also a contributor to reviving traditional textile arts and methods of production.
