Geocache Description:


The Poorboy Mine is located on the BGW range in the Welton Hills. Entrance permits are required.
According to Dan Rasp's book "Following the Footprints" the mine operated sporadically from 1897-1940. Gold and Silver. This is an interesting site, with several vertical shafts, one of which is very deep, so watch children and pets. Hoist foundations and supports for crushing equipment still on site.
