This area was once used by boaters, campers & people having picnics. Due to budget restraints, it has now been closed for many years and is becoming quite overgrown. It is, however, available to geocachers willing to take a nice walk to find a cache.
Park at the closed gate. This cache is a short walk from that point, mostly on pavement, but some off. The cache is a two-stage multi-cache. The first stage is a bit different and may challenge you. At the final stage, you will find a regular-sized cache (Yay!) and it should be easy to find. Be sure to bring some trade items, and if you take something, leave something of equal or greater value.
