Beware of the Phog! Mystery Cache

With March Madness quickly approaching, and me being a big fan of my alma mater's basketball team, I decided to try my hand at my first puzzle cache. While the puzzle is KU based, the cache is Big 12 friendly.
I've started it with some swag, and all the big 12 helmets. (Technically 10) There is a Big 12 bug that is ready to move along and attached to KU, but feel free to swap it out with your favorite team and move it along. There is also an an unactivated GC for FTF.
The cache is not at the posted coordinates. (However, some of my golf balls are.) To find the cache you'll need to solve the puzzle below.
