Geocache Description:

This cache is along the Kingsport Greenbelt in a beautiful spot.

Come away, O human child
To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand
For the world's more full of weeping
Than you can understand.

Where dips the rocky highland
Of Orebank in the Creek
There lies a leafy island
Where flapping herons wake
The drowsy water-rats
There we've hid our faery vats
Full of berries
And of reddest stolen cherries.

Where the wave of moonlight glosses
The dim grey sands with light
By far off furthest Baysmont
We foot it all the night
Weaving olden dances
Mingling hands and mingling glances
Till the moon has taken flight
To and fro we leap
And chase the frothy bubbles
Whilst the world is full of troubles
And is anxious in its sleep.

Where the wandering water gushes
From the hills above the Reedy
In pools among the rushes
That scarce could bathe a star
We seek for slumbering trout
And whispering in their ears
Give them unquiet dreams
Leaning softly out
From ferns that drop their tears
Over the young streams.

For he comes, the human child
To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand
For the world's more full of weeping
Than you can understand.

-W.B. Yeats + Old Tom

Take a moment out of your busy life and come to this place of peace and tranquility. Sit for a bit and listen for the laughter in the water, and feel the gaze of the trees. Fairies have taken up residence here, as is evidenced by the wildflowers crowding the area. They live just behind the falls, through a door which no mortal must pass. The water flows from Orebank out of a secluded little cove ripe with moss, ferns, and water plants. In Spring, this area is a riot of wildflowers, but beware! Trod in the wrong spot upon one of Spring's gifts and you'll have the Queen of the Fairies to deal with! Be gentle with the natural landscape as you seek this cache. If you see any lights in the trees on a warm evening, be careful not to follow, for it is surely the Good Folk leading you to destruction. Speaking of which, if you have the pleasure to meet any of them, be certain not to address them as "The Wee Folk" or "The Little People", as this is very offensive. Eat none of the food they offer you, and if you happen to meet the Queen of Elphame, give her my regards, and perhaps she will allow you to escape, as we are old friends.

Cache container is large enough to fit trackables and swag, and starts out stocked with such. Please rehide cache EXACTLY as you found it or better. Watch for muggles, as this is a busy spot at times (with the Fairies having a laugh under their noses at how unobservant they are). Terrain is a 2.5 or 2 depending on how you approach the cache. There is no need to pass the fence. As always, all disclaimers apply (cache owner not responsible for any anything etc.). Be safe, be stealthy, have fun!
