Geocache Description:

Eggstravaganza

Returning for a second year due to popular demand.

A day of chocolate, eggciting entertainment and of course geocaching. We will be hosting a geocaching themed egg hunt with special 'one day' caches set up. There will be something for everyone with an egg hunt for the wee ones and event caches and GPS games for the BIGGER children; and not to mention all this is in addition to the local caches, with some new ones coming soon...!
We will have several activities to take part in, prizes to be won and plenty of chocolate - all in close proximity to a couple of pubs.

If you are interested then please sign up early. We will be charging £3 per child for registration for the egg hunt (payable in cash on the day). This will help us to cover some of the costs of putting on this eggcellent Easter caching event.

Please sign up by posting a note below letting us know how many children will be attending. Please note that those who sign up prior to the event will be given priority over those that just turn up on the day. Whilst we will make every effort to make it an eggstremely fun day for all, we also cannot arrange for the Easter bunny to drop of the right number of eggs if we don’t have some idea on the number of children planning to take part.

We will meet at the published co-ords(see map for car parking)If you attended last year then it is at the cricket pavilion. Registration will start at 1100am and instruction with the hunt beginning around 11.30am.

Practicalities – for those unfamiliar with the area.
•There is very limited parking at the event location so please head into Walberswick to the main car park and walk to the eggstravaganza.
• Terrain is buggy and dog friendly although maybe wet or slightly muddy in places so spare shoes might be a plan just in case
• All children taking part must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• Dogs should be well supervised.
• Areas maybe exposed so warm and waterproof clothes advised (you are at the seaside and it is England so anything can happen!)

Walberswick is a fantastic place to picnic so bring along a rug.

2010 celebrations!

We look forward to meeting you all, let the eggstravaganza begin...!
