1/2 Way isn't so Bad Traditional Cache

This new trail up the west side of Guemes Mtn. is a gem. The grade is reasonable, the lush scenery is enthralling, and you never need worry about the security of leaving your vehicle behind, parked in a legal and safe spot. This cache is meant to be found, as an encouragement for those who have trouble climbing hills. It's title may be a little misleading, for it's not quite 1/2 way to the top at the cache site. Nevertheless, within another couple of trail turns, the conifers give way to a young stand of hardwoods, and then finally the view opens up, which is awesome particularly on a clear day. Don't give up!
The cache is an ammo, hidden 12' off the right side of the trail. Note spoiler pic. It's positioned up off the trail, after making a right turn switchback as you go uphill.
