Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the posted coordinates, but if you don't mind a narrow bridge and a tight turn, this may be a decent spot to park the car.

Name that Ship!

9/03/2016: This cache was originally called 'My Hero'. I renamed it 'Starman' to provide an extra clue, though some might say the old name was more helpful! Following the recent loss of the great David Bowie, the new name can be seen as a tribute to another of my all-time heroes, but this puzzle has nothing to do with him or his music. Neither has it anything to do with astronomy or astrology...

To find the cache you need to identify my hero:

  • He was briefly a circus performer;
  • He supplied tea to British forces;
  • He enlisted to fight for a foreign army in North Africa;
  • He achieved Olympic success.

The cache can be found at:
N 51° (P-164.6)/200
W 000° (P-46.8)/100

Congratulations on the FTF to DarenCollins.
