Geocache Description:

One of the crowned jewels of this area has to be the Cleveland Metroparks. I love driving and walking throughout the various parks enjoying nature and the undisturbed surroundings amongst city life.

At the southern end of Cleveland Metroparks is Hinckley Reservation, the site of the nationally-known annual return of the buzzards. Located in Hinckley Township in Medina County, the reservation is dominated by the 90-acre Hinckley Lake, enjoyed by ice fishermen and skaters in the winter months. Another attraction of the reservation is Whipp's Ledges, with elevations rising 350 feet above Hinckley Lake and formed more than 250 million years ago.

Your search will bring you to the East Drive Scenic Overlook which has a spectacular view of Hinckley Lake. This overlook is one of my most favorite places to sit, relax, clear my thoughts and enjoy the beautiful scenery and nature all around me.

The cache itself is located across the street along the all purpose trail. You are looking for a small loc-n-loc approximately 15 ft. off the trail, that contains a log book, pencil and room for small trade items.

A huge thank you goes to the Cleveland Metroparks for encouraging geocaching and allowing this one to be hid.
