Dear Valleri,
I used to listen to the band when I was a sweet young thing. Some called them an angel band but my mum would say “Mary, Mary, your Auntie Grizelda says you will end up in shades of grey listening to that”. I didn’t care, I was a Saturday’s child. She would say “Oh for Pete’s sake” and “oh my, my,” as I talked of being a star collector, and she would call me a daydream believer. It didn’t worry me, I would just think “I wanna be free.” I would listen to their music daily, nightly. It was all good clean fun!
But that was then, this is now and I need to go or I will miss the last train to Clarksville, yes I will. I'm heading to that tear drop city and soon, you’ll see, I’ll be back up on my feet with the help of Zor and Zam. Say hi to the boys.
