Geocache Description:

On the Chesterfield Canal. Geocachers walking the canal from the North need to go up the path but Caution there is a road ahead.
This is a nicely hidden small lock and lock box in view of the River Rother and the Chesterfield Canal

This is close to Tapton Lock (Number 1) which is the first / last lock on the Chesterfield Canal (depending on which way you look at it). On every other Saturday in the football season the road close by is used for football parking so no parking between 2:00 and 5:00 pm.
