Trasformata ora in una strada sterrata che viene percorsa da molti sportivi che praticano l'attività del Nordic Walking e dagli appassionati di Mountain Bike. Non presenta nessuna difficoltà. ITA. Cache Mister Ciuf Ciuf, 308 Mt. Piovene Rocchette. La cache si trova nella parte iniziale della via ferroviaria, a meno di un chilometro dalla partenza effettiva. Un tempo quando non esistevano le auto e i comodi mezzi pubblici di cui ora disponiamo, esisteva questa meravigliosa via ferroviaria di fondamentale importanza per il trasporto passeggeri, turismo, ma sopratutto per il trasporto merci. La storia e la testimonianza dei documenti originali, confermano che i primi progetti e lavori hanno avuto inizio verso la fine dell'ottocento. A quel tempo non c'era soltanto questa via la Rocchette Arsiero (otto chilometri circa), ma ne esisteva una ancora più famosa e senzazionale, la "vaca mora", ossia la Rocchette Asiago, e la meno conosciuta Schio Torrebelvicino. Grandi opere furono fatte all'epoca, quasi monumentali. Basta pensare al viadotto ferroviario Rocchette Asiago, vicino al ponte di Sant'Agata dove transita l'attuale strada statale. Un viadotto che pochi conoscono ma a quei tempi era considerato un'opera colossale! Le cifre parlano da sole; novanta metri di lunghezza, settanta di altezza, costruito per tre quarti in ferro/acciaio a traliccio campata unica. Era in grado di ammortizzarsi, flettersi, e di sopportare pesi e pressioni elevatissime. Fu progettato e realizzato da un'azienda di Milano specializzata in queste opere. Purtroppo il progresso quello considerato "ignorante" volle togliere la vita a tutte queste vie tra il 1956/58. L'arrivo dell'era moderna nei primi anni sessanta decise che tutti questi capolavori storici della ferrovia vicentina, ma sopratutto il principale viadotto di Sant'Agata vengano dismessi, abbandonati, e per finire in bellezza... Smantellati! La sentenza di "morte" arrivò anche per le locomotive a vapore, e tutto questo soltanto per ricavarne il metallo! Quando l'ignoranza prende il sopravvento sull'intelligenza, i risultati purtroppo possono soltanto che essere questi... La cache è un piccolo contenitore ermetico per alimenti, contiene piccoli oggetti, il log book, e può contenere TB e Geo Coin. Si trova su una piccola e semplice scalinata che vi porterà su un bellissimo punto panoramico, sono soltanto pochi passi ma valgono tutto... PORTATE CON VOI UNA PENNA.
