Geocache Description:

A nice circular walk around the the public footpaths and through High Ercall village, to link up with the Roddington Ramble series and to finish off with 6 woodland caches. Good luck in there guys as the gps jumps all over the place.

High Ercall

The village of High Ercall is located within the Telford and Wrekin area of Shropshire.
There is a small church within the village.
During the English civil war, the old manor house was a royalist stronghold amid a battle took place in the village at that time.
A little further up the road lies a World War II airfield which was home to the 29MU, a maintenance unit and end of the line for a lot of aircraft in the early 1950s.
