Located along the bank of the creek, on the other side of the fence of Miami Valley Academies. a fire hydrant marks the entrance into the wooded area with a very clear path. There is a special toy in it that young child might like. However, not recommended for children.
On the otherside of the chain link fence, someone cares for the feral cats and has provided them with food, and about dozen wooden structures to live in. They use to feed them at bench near by but it has grown into somethign quite remarkable.
The cats will watch you, but did not approach me as hid my cache. Leave them alone and they will leave you alone. I tried to pet one and the cat made it clear I should stay back. For this reason, do not bring young children unless they understand not to try and touch the cats.
I have been seeing logs from people attempting to visit this cache at night. Just a friendly reminder, the attributes clearly states that it is not accessable at night. First, there are wild animals such as raccoons and skunks that you probably don't want to have to deal with. Second, this is their home. Be respectful of when you visit their home the same way you would a friend. If people continue to visit this location at night, I will remove it.
