Geocache Description:

While out placing caches in local cemeteries along the US Hwy 75 corridor between Topeka, KS, and Holton, KS, a few months ago, I missed this little out-of-the-way cemetery. While in area this month performing maintenance checks, decided to divert route to this cemetery and place a cache.

I approached location from US Hwy 75, turned east onto 214th Road until it intersected with R4 Road. Travel on south on R4 Road until reach cemetery location. Cemetery is on east side of R4 Road. All roads that I traveled on were good well maintained gravel roads.

MUCH THANKS to royalsfan for pointing this cemetery out to me.

Cache that you will be searching for is a a SMALL PLASTIC BOTTLE about the size of an adult human's thumb. Container placed somewhere on that tree or its remnants.

Remember that this is a cemetery and please follow any/all rules/regulations that may be posted and that we have all read on other cemetery page write-ups.

Update March 06, 2012: Normally I would place the correct name of any cemetery in my cemetery series if I see anything posted differently on-site as compared to local maps, google maps, etc. Did not explore this site as thoroughly as I normally would have. Been notified by fellow geocachers that have loved-ones buried here of the correct spelling. Have used the spelling as suggested - that way the loved-ones interned here are properly HONORED. Thanks to all who provided information!!

UPDATE: April 02, 2021 - Someone disconnected the wire that was supposed to be attached to original container and just stuck container back into hiding place, thus making it pert near impossible to retrieve container. Placed new container/log in place. All is good for now.
