Geocache Description:

THE CACHE IS NOT AT THIS LOCATION. YOU WILL HAVE TO SOLVE THE PUZZLE BELOW.
A short walk to view the history of Mount Pleasant. When the GO Station was named after Mount Pleasant, I never knew why. Now that they developed the other side of the tracks, these plaques tell the story. You will need to visit and read plaques in this area to find the location of the cache.

The cache difficulty is based on solving the puzzle and high muggle traffic.

At the starting co-ordinates is the first plaque. Take time to read the plaque and solve the information below.

Question 1: There are crossroads which were in the hamlet of Pleasant. What is the line number?

Question2: Find the digital sums of each of the items below (a,b,c)
a) When was the land purchased by the Crown from the Chippewa's?
b) When was the first post office opened?
c) When did the first telephone service appear?

Answer to Question 2 is (a) x 2(b) - (c) =

Now that you have solved these questions, you will need to visit the remaining plaques. In order to locate the directions to the cache, use the answers to Question 1 and 2 to count the words in paragraph 4 of each plaque. If the words do not make sense when you place them in the caption below, then move on to the next plaque.

"I was wondering why the GO Station was called Mount Pleasant. After reading each of the plaques I thought that this would be a good place for a cache. I returned to this plaque and [QUESTION 1 ANSWER] [Question 2 ANSWER] to place the cache."
