RattyFella: I was recently informed that event caches should be archived, so here I go, placing it carefully as the first of hopefully many events I host over the coming years.
Thank you to all who attended, helped, showed interest, and generally supproted.
The next Brummie Meet is likely to be sometime in June 2012 I expect.

The latest in the Brummie Meets, but now in a new venue in the centre of Birmingham. It would be nice to see as many cachers again as last time and maybe even more!
An informal get together of Birmingham and neighbouring area cachers for a drink, food and chat.
Starting 7pm Tuesday 27th March 2012 at The Sun On The Hill, 23 Bennetts Hill, Birmingham B2 5QP.
This will be a very informal event - no new caches for the event, walks, CITO or the like. This is just about an opportunity to sit down, have a drink, maybe some food but most importantly do some geo-chatting. At the time of listing this event, several new caches have been placed in and around Birmingham City centre so there is as always, an opportunity to go out in a group to cache.
Visitors to the area (tourists, conference delegates etc) will be very welcome and may enjoy an evening in the company of like-minded folk.
There are several caches in and around the City Centre for those that wish to indulge. Also as per previous events, there will be the opportunity to swap Trackables and spot the bizarre!
Please be aware that the chargeable times for on-street parking have now changed. It is free after 7:30pm. There's normally plenty available.
The Sun On The Hill has a mezzanine floor, which is being made available for our exclusive use for this event. Sadly there is no lift access for those who might require it.
Our host, Andy, has requested a general number for those requiring food so please mention if you require food in your attendance log.
Whether or not you'll be dining, kindly indicate in your log how many persons might attend. Should we have a reasonable number, (30+), Andy will employ an additional staff member to open and man the mezzanine bar.
