This “Bud’s” for you! Geocache is in memory of “Bud” Floyd Howell who passed away from esophageal cancer on March 4, 2010.
The mile marker 135 to 136 on Arizona Highway 191, is cleaned as part of the State of Arizona Adopt a mile program. The mile is cleaned by family and friends at least 3 x a yr. The reason this area was chosen by the family to adopt is because he worked for Phelps Dodge Mining Corporation in Morenci, AZ and drove this road on a regular basis to get to work before retiring.
The container is a med size cookie tin that is painted green and black. There is a First to Find Integrity coin. There is a log and pen and pencil. Also pencil erasers, cloth bracelets, can cozy and a couple of little cars.
